Getting started with Autochartist™

Autochartist is available to Live clients and can be installed both as a stand-alone application and integrated within MetaTrader 4.

Demo clients can download a demo stand-alone version of Autochartist for a 14 day trial.

Live account holders - Autochartist as a stand-alone application:

• Wide range of currency-pair analyses
• Audible pattern and trend signals
• Available chart view of a single pattern

You will need your MetaTrader 4 username and password to log onto Autochartist after installation.

Live account holders – Autochartist integrated on MetaTrader 4:

• Advanced trader application
• Direct patterns and trend charting
• Analytical range predictions

Download Autochartist plug-in for MetaTrader 4

To activate the Autochartist plug-in for MetaTrader 4

1) Install and run the Autochartist application. Type in your username and password, click "remember password" and then Connect.

2) Make sure MT4 is off and install MT4 plugin (During the installation please select the folder where your MT4 files are stored).

3) Open MT4 and make sure stand-alone Autochartist is running.

4) Go to Tools > Option > Expert Advisors and make sure your settings are as the following screenshot illustrates:

5) Press ‘OK’

6) Look for Autochartist_ALPARI in your Custom Indicators (Navigator panel) and drag it onto a currency pair chart. Make sure to use time frame supported by Autochartist (M15, M30, H1, H4)

Remember that the indicator only works when the markets are open and ticks are streaming through.

Please note if you have the demo running on your computer, you need to exit the application before you run the setup.exe file to install the live version. To exit, either go to File > Exit in Autochartist Demo or right click on the Autochartist icon in the tray and select Exit (as shown below).
